CD and DVD Quality Control

Our main priority is the discs quality, and thus we apply the multi-level quality control system at all stages of the manufacture. In addition to the in-line test stations by Dr. Schenk we have the up-to-date professional equipment manufactured by AudioDev AB and DaTARIUS Technologies GmbH for incoming and outgoing inspection.

Incoming Inspection of Source Media
Quality of source media submitted by a customer is checked during incoming inspection. At the same time disc structure conformity to the Philips/Sony standard is additionally checked.

Stamper Quality Inspection
Each produced stamper is checked for conformity with standards.

Inspection During Replication
In-line optical testers check the optical parameters of EACH disc being replicated.
To estimate meeting the standard, the test station is used that measures practically all groups of disc parameters.
When a new replication batch is launched, the bit-to-bit verification of replica to customer’s source media is effected to ascertain the identity of discs contents and structure. The “Bit-To-Bit” software developed by our premastering team specially for our plant is used for this.
When printing discs are visually controlled to ensure that label is an accurate copy of prototype provided by a customer.
Established technique of discs testing at various stages of manufacture allows the plant to guarantee the top quality of its products.
